can share their wisdom and revelations about what it means to live a spirituality that is not separate from daily life, but completely and inherently intertwined with it.
AMRITA [Sanskrit]: Divine Nectar
We believe there is nothing of the world that is not imbued with sacredness.
Every moment, no matter how trivial or mundane, is an expression of the great mystery of Life—the mystery of the Divine Feminine herself.
The practice of embracing the sensuous world as innately numinous is at the heart of many ancient, mystical traditions. We refer to this practice as Feminine Spirituality, though it has taken many names and many shapes throughout time.
Regardless of what name you give it, what we invite you to celebrate here with us is a world-affirming spirituality—one that reveres the body as an instrument of spiritual transformation; that acknowledges sexual energy as divine energy; that honors the earth as alive and imbued with consciousness; and that makes no discernment between pure and un-pure, holy and unholy.
All is holy, and all is sacred. The divine is everywhere, and in everything. All we need to do is open to it.
Women throughout history have carried the wisdom of the Sacred in their flesh, blood, and bones, passing it down from generation to generation through song, dance, prayer, storytelling, ritual, and ecstatic, revelatory expression. Much of this wisdom has been buried or lost due to patriarchal hegemony throughout the past several thousands of years. But now…
Now there is a global movement happening, and women the world over are reclaiming their sacred voices.
